The name of this sculpture is "Veiled Vestal Virgin" it was made by the request of The Duke of Devonshire to Raffaelle Monti, an italian artist. It appears in a scene of the movie "Pride and Prejudice" where the protagonist gives it a deeply look, I was watching this movie the first time I saw it.
I really like this sculpture, I don't know much about sculptures but when I first saw this piece of art I was impressed about how it is possible to sculpt a human face covered by a veil. It is incredible how the veil that covers the face sems real.
I don't know if this piece of art it's better than others, I think that is different from other famous sculptures that are all in the same line.

I have another piece of art that I really like, it is the Guernica, I first saw this work in a History test when I was in 7° grade, at first I didn't understand the painting, I just saw different abstract figures and lines, but when I got what Picasso wanted to transmit about the war this painting becomes my favourite one.

The truth is that I don't admire any architect in special, because I don't know a lot about architecture. I don't mean that I'm not interested in, is just that I don't have enough acknowledge to talk about it and say I admire this one because is great architect. However I can say that what I like and what I've enjoyed. I know about Gaudi and his work, and I really like it, his labour kind of transmit that he was crazy, that his creativity was out of this world, his way of architecture was different from all and I think it doesn't compare with others architects. What I like him the most is his conexion with nature, the way he put nature in artificial things as architecture.
Moreover I can talk about Alejandro Aravena, a chilean architect that is has been on the news this lasts months because on this days he will get (or already got?) the Pritzker price, that is a kind of novel in architecture.
